 I've already discussed this with my best friend and if we were to get a tattoo it would definitely be the Parabati rune from The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. Those are some of our favorite series, and Cassandra Clare is one of our favorite authors. It would be the perfect tattoo!

  Question of the Week: Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books? - Suggested by Alison Can Read

Why? Why are you doing this to me? Only three books? GAHHHHHHH!!! Okay, here goes.

1) Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta, because that's one of my all time favorite books. It was such a surprise to me how much I ended up loving it!

2) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare, because even though that book tore my heart out, it is my number one, favorite book of hers. So damn good!

3) The Walking Dead Compendium One, because that thing has a multi-purpose. First it's so damn big that I can use it as a weapon should it be necessary. That will knock someone out(haha). Secondly, it has about the first 40 issues in it, so I'll have a lot to read. Plus it's amazing!

This is difficult. I have to say I prefer fantasy, but more so on the paranormal fantasy side. I don't read much high fantasy or things like that. Although I do want to. I think what really go me into fantasy was Twilight and The Mortal Instrument books. That's where it all began for me!

I wish I could say that I do, but honestly I don't. I usually forget to do them, and I don't follow that many people who do them as well. If I ever do get mentioned in a #FF, then that reminds me that I should do one, and I'll always mention those people in mine!

Question:

Do you read more than one book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? -Suggested by Word I Write Crazy   I like to read one book at a time! I like to focus on that book and completely throw myself into it. However, it seems lately that I've been reading multiple books at once, and that has seem to put me in a slump. I don't want to pick up any of the books. I think reading one book at a time is the best for me!

Question: Post a funny Youtube video (doesn’t have to be book related). 

 So there's a reason why I'm posting this video. I've recently watched both of The Hobbit movies, as well as The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers, for the FIRST TIME! I absolutely fell IN LOVE with this world and everything about it. (Currently reading The Hobbit book as well). For those wondering, I will be watching The Return of the King to see how everything ends. My friend and I are watching them together(for the first time) and we haven't had time to get together and watch the last one. Hopefully this weekend we will be able to do that!

Question: What are your favorite books of 2014 so far? 

 

 

 

 

 

These four books are my favorites of the year so far. They're all young adult novels, besides for Easy by Tammara Webber, which is in the New Adult genre, that I absolutely fell in love with. They were addicting stories, with truly amazing and fascinating characters. 

The Fault in Our Stars was my first read of 2014 and it was such an amazing story to start off the year. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead were both stories that I was hesitant to read because they didn't sound like something I would enjoy. However, after picking them up, I absolutely fell in love with both stories, completely different, but both amazing in there own ways.

 This is an easy one for me. John Green and Cassandra Clare. Those are my top choices because I absolutely love them. I would also add Tahereh Mafi and Ransom Riggs to this list because they just seem like such awesome people to be around!

Share! Tell us about one of your hobbies that is NOT reading. 

Oh, lets see. A hobby that is not reading.
This is somewhat of a hobby, but also not so much. But I really love going for walks. Not for exercise(although that is a added bonus) but mainly for myself. I just love going down to my lake and just walking along it. It's so nice, peaceful, relaxing, and the view is simply amazing! I try to go as much as possible, either by myself or with some friends, but obviously in the winter I really can't. But as soon as the weather got nicer, I've been walking down at the lake almost everyday and I love it. Along with this, I would love to start hiking soon. I think that would be something that I would really enjoy and would give an extra bonus to what I already do.

My family has 2 dogs- Ralphie and Piper. We've had them ever since I was a kid.

This is Ralphie, a chow mixed. We got him when I was 5 and he was a tiny puppy. He's now 17 years old now(I know really old) but he's still kicking. The vet said he's very strong for his age! Ralphie loves being outside and laying in the grass.

This is Piper, a pitbull. We got him a few years after Ralphie. Piper was my brothers dog, whom he got as a puppy. But he couldn't keep him any more and so my parents took him in. Piper is now 14 years old. He likes to take up peoples spots on the couch and in the bed.

Spring Break. Where would be your favorite destination spot if you could join the Spring Break festivities? 

I really don't go anywhere for Spring Break. The last place I went for break was Disney World and that was a few years back. That was also my FIRST time ever going there. It was a ton of fun, and if I had to choose somewhere it would probably be there. Also Universal so I can visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

These are my Pocahontas cups that I've had for about 16 years now. My mom got them for me when I was a kid because I was(and still am) obsessed with the movie Pocahontas. I use to put the VHS on(yes I had it on VHS) and watch it almost everyday. Now it has been quite some time since I've seen that movie, but it will always be one of my favorites. And I always love looking at the cups!

Q: Spring is in the air! Show off your favorite outdoor reading spot. If you don’t go outside…well where else do you read that isn’t inside your house? We want pics!

I wish it was nice here. We just had a snowstorm and it snowed all yesterday and most of today and I spent most of yesterday and today shoveling. Oh the joy. Which is also the reason for no pictures. However, to answer the question, when there's NO snow on the ground I love reading outside, sitting on a chair under the tent. It's relaxing! And then when night hits, I love to go and sit on our enclosed front porch, open the window and listen to the cars drive by at night while reading!

Q: If you could read a book for the “first time” again, which book would it be? Why?

 

They're quite a few that I would love to read again for the "first time" but I have two specifics. The first is Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. I absolutely adore this book and would love to experience the story over again. The next would be The Hunger Games trilogy. I would love to experience this story again, and fall in love with the characters all over again!

1) I started working out a lot more than I have before. Although that only lasted for a few months, then I stopped and then started back up again. It's a working progress.

A: Now I usually don't mind being on camera, I mean I make YouTube videos for the BookTube community, but right now I can't be caught on camera because my grandma just recently passed away and I have been spending time with my family, and I just don't have the time to do anything more right at this moment. Right as I am writing this, I have to rush to finish because I have to leave to go with my family to talk about a few personal things. It has been a hectic time.
