Bout of Books 11.0- Goals and TBR

Bout of Books 11
TIME
  • No set time. I just plan to read as much as I can.
GOALS
  • Read 50-100 pages a day.
  • I've been reading The Fellowship of the Ring for some time now. It's a slower read for me, so I want to read a bit of that book everyday!
  • Read at least 3-5 books for the week!
  • Complete the challenges!
  • Comment on AT LEAST 5 blogs daily!

  2. Awesome stack to choose from. I might add Shadow Kiss. I'm halfway through frostbite now so should be finished by Monday, I haven't read any Lord of the Rings books. That sounds bad being from New Zealand! I haven't even seen the movies. Lol. Happy reading!

    1. Everyone is saying Shadow Kiss is the best in the series, so I definitely want to see what all the fuss is about. I'm excited!
I recently watched the Lord of the Rings movies(for the first time) last month and fell in love with them. I definitely understand why everyone loves them. So I decided to pick up the books and I was SOOOOO surprised by how much more detail the book has. I mean, I expected it to have more, just not this much more. It's a really great read so far!

  8. I've been listening to The Fellowship of the Ring. I think I have about 2ish hours to go. I can't get over the level of detail and how much more there is in the book than in the movie...I mean obviously there's more but it's SO much! Even just listening I feel like I have to keep taking breaks.
Good luck with the rest of your goals for the week!

    1. The detail is crazy! I just recently watched the movies for the first time last month, and it's insane how much detail is in the books. I am curious, how's the audio version of The Fellowship? I definitely understand what you mean about having to take breaks! It's just so much!

  13. I found that for me The Fellowship of the Ring was a very slow read too. There was just so many more information than in the movies. I managed to finish that one, but it took me ages. Hope you have better luck! Good luck with your goals, Angelica :)

    1. It really is a slower read with so much information. I'm enjoying it, but it definitely is going to take me some time to read it. I'm hoping I can get a good chunk knocked out this readathon!
