Feature and Follow [5]

Alison Can Read Feature & FollowThis is a weekly blog hop hosted by the wonderful Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Today's question is:

Q: How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

For the most part, I usually finish the books that I'm having a heard time getting into and not enjoying. However there were two books that I DNF and those were Shiver by Maggie Steifvater and The Vampire Diaries by L.J Smith. Although I love the show, just couldn't get into the books.

  1. I hate to not finish a book too, but there are the occasional ones that must be DNFed for my own sanity!

  2. I didn't love Shiver either... I did finish that book but didn't bother to finish the series that's for sure!

  3. I haven't read Shiver even though it's been on my TBR list. The VD are a little different from the show.

Thanks for stopping by my FF

  7. I never finished Shiver either, I've read the first five books of The Vampire Diaries, but yeah, the show is way better.

  9. I don't mind DNF-ing if it's really not working for me, but if it seems like it has potential I stick with it.
