Gotham Review- 1x05 'Viper'

This was a much better episode!

So we open up with Bruce trying to figure out Gotham. He's wondering who exactly is corrupt in Gotham besides for the two fighting families. Well that is an easy one for you Bruce. You want to know who is corrupt....EVERYONE!!! Wayne Enterprises is also hosting a charity lunch event that Bruce has agreed to go too. Alfred was kind of surprised by that, but glad as well because he wants Bruce to stop looking into these things. One thing that I enjoyed about this episode was the fact that we got to know a bit more about Wayne Enterprises. I'm definitely intrigued when it comes to Wayne Enterprises. I also liked the fact that Bruce is asking questions, and is possibly starting to think that there's some shady business happening there.

Moving on to Maroni and Falcone. Now Maroni wants to hit the Falcones Casino to mess with them. Getting a piece of Arkham wasn't enough. He wants to show them who really is in control. We see Gordon get taken to Maronis resturant after finding out that Penguin use to work for Fish Mooney. How did he find that out exactly? Well Penguin told him. Was it smart? Was it nor smart? You decide. So Gordon is taken to the resturant and ordered to tell the same story that Penguin told or else they both will die. He told them how he was order to kill Penguin but
didn't and Maroni couldn't be any more happy. He now has a weapon that no one knows about.

Now we have this weeks villain whose name is Stan. I really enjoyed this guy. He dropped a green drug into a guys guitar box. He picked it up and read the words "Breathe Me' written on the bottle. And what would
any person do in this situation? Well breathe it in of course! All of a sudden he becomes this insanely strong person. He walks into a store like he owns it and speaks like he's a god. This drug apparently gives you super strength. We find out that the strength only lasts a few hours at most and after that you die in some horrific way. We see Stan walking down the street passing out bottles of this drug to any person that he sees.

Stan use to work at WellZyn, the best lab in Gotham, which is run by Wayne Enterprises! He use to work there until he became frustrated that he wasn't going more important work and tried to cut off his own ear. At least that is what we are lead to believe by the people who work at Wayne Enterprises. Turns out WellZyn lied. Stan was in charge of designing pharmaceutical weapons to be used by combat troops. The first dose was Viper(the drug being handed out now.) Stan wanted to stop this and went to the Waynes to tell them all about it. They did end up stopping it, but after they were murdered the others wanted to put it back out again. So could Wayne Enterprises possibly have something to do with there murder? Who knows?

Really quickly I want to mention that we have Riddler in here again, Edward Nygma. As always the small scene he was in was great. I absolutely love his character and I can't wait to see more. I loved how he was so fascinated with this drug and what it does! 

The Following Review- 3x01 'New Blood'

Here we go. I'm so excited that this show is back! This is one of my favorite shows on television at the moment and I've been waiting for this to return. Of course with this new season we had a few questions that were left unanswered. What's going to happen to Joe Carroll? Are Mike and Max still together? Who the hell was the driver? And we get all those answers in this premiere episode.

So it opens up officially one year later to the wedding of Gina. Ryan Hardy is there with his girlfriend and he seems very happy! This is quite weird to see because in the past 2 seasons we have not seen Ryan this happy for this long. Something has to go wrong right? Oh definitely!


We see Mike show up to the party late because he has been in the field trying to catch Mark. Max introduces Mike to her new boyfriend who happens to work in FBI with her(awkward). Everyone is happy and looking forward to Joe Carroll's execution in a month(yeah, we'll see how that goes.) Everything seems fine until a waiter who’s working at the event decides to throw blood on Ryan as he's giving his toast. He calls Ryan a liar and cries that Ryan killed his daughter during a raid trying to find Carroll. This stays with Ryan so he decides to investigate this. When he arrives at the dead girl’s house, her father looks nothing like the man who attacked Ryan at the reception. So who the hell was he?

Just so happens that the guy who threw the blood is working with two other people named Kyle and Daisy. They are pretty much psychotic and lured a couple to there death. Ryan and the others arrive at the murder scene and see the bodies rigged up in a certain way, and the words “Ryan Hardy Lies” are written on the wall. Another murder happens in a different area with the words "Max Hardy Lies,” written this time. We find out that the killers are recreating moments that the FBI killed people following the crazy phase that was Carroll and Gray. Which makes it click in there head that the only person who could be behind this is Mark.

Mark Gray is the twin that survived and also the brains behind the new murders. He is working with Andrew(the man who threw the blood), and Daisy and Kyle. Oh and most importantly we can't forget Luke Yes, you read that right. The same Luke that died at the end of season 2. How you may ask? Well Luke is dead, but not in Marks mind. Mark believes, in his mind, that his brother is still alive. To me, this makes him completely terrifying. It makes Sam Underwood an amazingly brilliant actor. Seriously, he deserves so many awards for his portrayal. Mark has gone completely insane, and I love it. They then decide to hit an art fundraiser to find a blonde for their mother to recreate the scene where Mike kills her. The FBI find this out and arrive but they only get Andrew. The rest of them get away and kill another innocent person.

Ryan interrogates Andrew at the FBI and asks him what turns out to be a very important question.“What’s Mark to you?” All of sudden we're in a flashback and showed that Andrew was the damn driver at the end of season 2. WHAT????? I don't really know how I feel about that. I was kind of disappointed. The FBI arrive to the scene of the new murder and it's as expected, showing the Mike killing Lilly execution style, with the words "While you lie, more die." written this time. 

The last few minutes show us Daisy wanting to leave and telling Kyle they’re going to get caught just like Andrew. Kyle tells her that if they go now, they’ll spend the rest of their lives on the run and then says “he” will make sure of it. Who the hell is "he"? Mike watches them pack up the scene in the woods and Max is at home pouring a drink.(Did you not learn anything from Ryan?) We see Ryan looking through murder photos, and we also see Mark tell "Luke" that today was hard but he helped him through it. Luke tells Mark that tomorrow will be awesome because one of them is going to die.

Gotham Review- 1x04 'Arkham'

Okay right off the back I'm going to say that I really did not enjoy this episode. Just wanted to get that out of the way. In all honesty I just wasn't interested enough in it. And as usual, they're spoilers in this review!

So we open up with Penguin who is now back and is outside Jim Gordons door. The look on Jims face was
"holy shit.' Jim takes him outside of his place and slams him up against the wall wondering what the hell he is doing there and what's going to happen now that he is back.

I found Penguins part in this episode to be the most interesting. He is one smart guy and came up with a plan, a brilliant plan by the way, to rise up. He paid some robbers to come in and kill people at the restaurant he now works at and steal the money. He then brought the same people he hired some poisoned cannolis, watched as they ate them, and then took the money.

Oh I really want to put this out here real quick. The Riddler showed up, or pre-Riddler should I say. God, he is only on for a minute or so but I absolutely love his character! I want to see more of him. Right from the very first episode I thought he was great. Give me more of him! 

We also have Fish Mooney, who is in search of a weapon, or more so a woman who she can use as a weapon. That weapon was found and her name is Liza. What will Lizas role be? Maybe a spy for Fish. Possibly spying on Falcone? I guess we will find out.

Lets talk about this weeks villain, whom just so happened to be a hit-man named Gladwell. It seems as though he was hired, or was being used, by both
Falcone and Maroni to kill the other's councilmen, or at least that is what Gordon thinks. We didn't really get a straight out answer, just a theory from Gordon. A good theory though. We don't know much about Gladwell or why he uses that pop-out blade thing. I found Gladwell to be boring in all honesty. I really didn't care for him or the story involving him. He also had a simple day-time desk job where he could be easily tracked down, which is where he was found.

My favorite part of the episode had to be Arkham itself. Mainly that metal gateway with the Arkham name on it. That was such an amazing thing to see, and I'm glad that was put into this episode!

Overall this was an okay episode. I didn't really care too much for it and I'm hoping the next episode is better. What did you think of this episode? Leave your thoughts!

Gotham Review- 1x03 'The Balloonman'

I was really into this episode. It wasn't the best episode but I still found it to be fun and entertaining, mainly because of this weeks villain.

This weeks villian is the Vigilante, or Balloonman. I will admit, he wasn't the best and the name is laughable, but what I found enjoyable about him is that he is a bad guy, but he's doing these things with good intentions. The people of Gotham really seemed to like the Balloonman, whom they see as cleaning up the city. Of course, I really don't think they would like him so much if they got tied to a big balloon and floated away.

Another thing that I loved was seeing Penguin back in Gotham! I enjoy his character, unlike some people, I'm not in love with his character yet. But like I said I do enjoy him. For me, he's one of those characters that will grow on me. I'm excited to see where his character goes from here, and I loved how they ended this episode. With Penguin going to see Jim.


The Gordon and Bullock dynamic, as usual, was great. I'm hoping they can stick with it. I'm really enjoying seeing these two work on screen together and interact!

Bruce and Alfred's relationship is enjoyable. The sword fight between the two is such a great scene to watch and I loved that it was included in this episode. David Mazouz is definitely turning out to be a favorite of mine. Bruce also plays detective in the episode. He is obsessing over pictures and information in police reports hoping to find a clue about his parents. 

I figure I should mention this even though I could care less, but Montoya is still being a possessive, insanely jealous character when it comes to Barbara. We get it, the two of you were in a relationship and it seems like you want her back. In all honesty I could care less. I don't like the character of both Montoya and Barbara. Every time they come on screen I can't wait for them to get off.

As I  have said, this wasn't my favorite episode but it was still very enjoyable and it definitely had me intrigued throughout it. I'm excited to see what happens next.

Gotham Reviews [[UPDATE!!!]]

So I have a couple reviews up for the first 2 episodes of Gotham. After that I stopped watching the show. I stopped watching, not because it was bad, but because I got behind an episode, then two episodes, three and so on. Now I'm really behind!

I wanted to post this saying that the reviews will be back when I start watching the show again! Hopefully this month, but as of right now I'm not sure. Honestly, I'm behind on so many of my favorite shows(TVD, ARROW, Supernatural, PLL, The Originals, The Fosters, Chicago Fire) its kind of insane!

I'm hoping to get caught up soon! 

The Following- Season 3

One of my favorite TV shows that is airing happens to be The Following. It's such an addicting show, with so many surprises! So I just wanted to talk about the upcoming season, beginning on March 2nd! I'm beyond excited for it. 

Now they say that season 3 is the beginning of a new chapter. Which I'm very excited for. These past two seasons has been the chapter of Joe Carroll, and as great a chapter as it was, I'm very excited to see something new. Although Joe Carroll will still be a part of Season 3(at least I believe he will be), we will have a new villain! I'm excited that Carroll will still be a part of the show because he is such a great character. The way he thinks is fascinating!

I'm not sure what Season 3 is going to bring, but I know that whatever it is, it will be one hell of a ride! I'm honestly so excited for the new season to begin.

Teen Wolf- The Dark Moon Review/Recap

So we open up with Stiles and Lydia in Mexico. Yes, you read that right Mexico. For what reason, well we’re not sure. They then head to this club where they have to show a card to get in. Inside they get taken to the back where we find out what they’re after. Derek. It seems Derek has been missing and they believe the Spanish werewolf hunters have him. They offer them $50,000 for the release of Derek. Now at this time we still only see Stiles and Lydia. Where are the rest of them? Oh they’re not too far away. In fact they’re in the club.

It turns out the hunters don’t have Derek, but they capture everyone by spraying wolfs bane into the club. The group is held in a room, until Scott and Kira are taken out. Scott, Lydia, and Kira are tortured, well technically only Scott is, until he breaks his chains. It turns out the torture actually helped because now he knows who has Derek. 

Here comes the save Derek Mission. Why does it seem like Derek is always the one getting captured? Scott, Stiles, and the rest of the group, head off to find Derek, along with Braeden who is paid to guide them and make sure they get to where they need to go. They believe Derek is being kept in a church, the only building left standing after a massive earthquake. They say it’s because of what is buried underneath it- were jaguars. Yes, you read that right. Scott and Braeden head into the church alone. Why alone you may ask. Well Stiles jeep hit something and it got run off the road. So Scott went ahead with Braeden and Stiles, Lydia, Malia, and Kira stayed behind. Stiles trying to fix his jeep is kind of hilarious!

They head into the church alone and keep feeling as though there’s something following them. It turns out they’re right. We’re not entirely sure what, but my guess is Kate? Maybe she’s a were- jaguar or whatever. With it getting close Scott lets out one of his Alpha howls and scares it off, while in the process opening a hidden door. And in that door is a wall with a symbol where they believe Derek might be. Scott punches a whole through it and is surprised by what he sees.

Finally the others show up while Scott and Braeden are coming out of the church caring Derek, or at least we thought. The others are surprised, with the exception of Mailia since she has never met Derek. Finally we see who it is. It’s Derek! Only his younger self. Yes, it’s YOUNG DEREK. What the hell happened to him? How the hell did that even come to be? Does it have something to do with The Dark Moon that was mentioned earlier? And what does this mean for the Derek we know?

Overall, this was an okay episode. The last few minutes were insane, but other than that I wasn’t too impressed. It seemed like a much slower episode. However the trailer for the rest of the season looks AMAZING, so I’m really excited to see where everything goes.
