Feature Follow [1]

Feature Follow [1]

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
This week’s question:

Q: Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?

House of Night by P.C and Kristen Cast and Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick are two that come to my mind. I have no intention on finishing either of those series. Another is The Vampire Diaries by L.J Smith, although I do love the TV show. It's one of my favorites!

  1. I've heard both of these a lot this week. I doubt I'll ever read House of Night but I do have Hush, Hush on my kindle. Kind of afraid, now. :D Following via GFC and Linky. :D Happy Friday! :D

    1. If you already have it on your Kindle, I would try it. It wasn't a terrible book, it just didn't grab me enough to continue! Thanks for stopping by, I followed back :)

    1. The show, in my opinion, is better!
I think I could have enjoyed the books if I didn't watch the show first.

  7. *screams loudly because we had the same answer*
Basically I gave up on the Vampire Diaries too. I love the TV series to bits, and review it on my blog regularly (well until the HIATUS D:) I just thought that the book series was a bit repetitive and after a while it got a bit ridiculous, so I stopped.
Another series that I dumped, while I didn't include it in my FF post, is the HoN series. :)))))))) I can't bring myself to read the newest book, So i guess I've dumped it. I finished Hush, hush, though. It was weird and cliched and I don't know how to react to the weird-as-heck ending, so I can totally see why you'd dump the series. I'd dump the series if I hadn't already finished it (heh).

I just recently got season 3 of TVD on DVD because it was on sale for $15. I was a bit too excited :)
Hahaa HoN has too many books in my opinion!

  10. The first book isn't terrible. It just didn't really grab my attention enough for me to continue on. However, if you do decide to read it, I would recommend checking it out from the library or borrowing it from a friend.

Thank you for following back :)

  11. I'm thinking that five Molly Moon books is enough for my library. I read them all, but they are waning in popularity and I can't justify purchasing the 6th!

    1. Thank you:)

Personally, I just felt as though the HoN series dragged on. I know people who absolutely loved Hush, Hush. Unfortunately I'm not one of them, although I wish I was!

  14. I HATE the vampire diaries, most the new ones are not even L.J Smith. They fired her and hired a ghost writer. I loved the first ones, but they got really stupid in the end. I am a new follower!

  15. I know the Stefan's Diaries are by ghost writers. I bought the first one, not knowing that. I still haven't read it. Kind of been putting it off.
